Flashback Friday & Arbor Day Collide

This is what happens when Arbor Day and Flashback Friday collide! Courtesy of the Boulder City/Hoover Dam Museum, here’s a photo of a man named Wilbur Weed beginning the planting of more than 9,000 trees into Boulder City … this particular photo was taken on Utah Street on March 15, 1932.

And you KNOW I’m wildly amused by the landscape beautification guy’s last name being ‘weed’, because I’m just twisted that way! Happy Friday, Fans!
