Georgia Guard Rail Replacement

There has been SO much timely and interesting news to post lately that I’ve actually had this post on deck for weeks now! For the past couple of months (until week before last), there was orange construction tape tying off two gaping holes in the guard rail that sits between the street and the storm channel on Georgia (approximately a few blocks below Sandra Dr.). Did you happen to see it and wonder what the heck happened?

Well, here you go…Fan Janine Ayers posted the below photo to the BC Social page – you can see that a yellow truck left the roadway, went through the guardrail and flipped upside down into the channel. Don’t worry, it wasn’t posted until long after they’d had time to contact people and clear the scene of the accident – so good social media protocol was followed to save needless worry by friends and relatives.

And I did happen to drive by there on my way home and asked one of the officers if everyone was okay and he said yes, so that’s great news. But that’s the scoop on the Georgia guard rail and we’re glad everyone came out unscathed!
