Gold Prospecting Adventure Tours

Gold Prospectors in Boulder City, NevadaI have the FEVER! And all it took was one look at those lovely little flecks of yes, GOLD!

I finally had a chance to swing by and see what “Gold Rush Prospecting” was all about…they opened up in the former Subway Sandwiches location on Nevada Hwy about 7 months ago.

They have all sorts of supplies and equipment, including books on gold prospecting and cool tools…but they’re currently amping up the “adventure tours” side of the business.

It’s a 6-8 hour day-trip out in the Lake Mead area and you can do a bunch of different types of prospecting…metal detector/pinpointing, dry panning, wet sluicing, etc. before and after the provided lunch. Sounds fun!

Gift certificates are available, so if you’re looking for something fun to give for the holidays…maybe this is it (especially since they have gift certificates)! For more info – just call Steve at (702) 982-7000.

Gold Rush Prospecting is open Tues-Sun from 9-5 and they’re located at 1311 Nevada Hwy!
