Great Photo Gallery of Bridge Checkup!

Okay - the Las Vegas Review Journal has posted a great collection of images taken of Stantec engineers doing a routine structural inspection of the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge.

The photo you see here is NOT one of them...I couldn't use theirs without infringing on someone's copyright, of course -- but click here to check out the photos of the "rope-access engineers" dangling on the bridge while they inspect it.

The article says that there are only about 60 folks in the country who are certified to do this...gee, I wonder why...NOT!
