Haggen Moves In June 7-9

Heidi Knapp Rinella of the Las Vegas Review-Journal has some scoop for us on the transition of the Boulder City Vons store into a Haggen supermarket (which you can read by clicking here)!  Our current Vons store will close for conversion on June 7th and re-open as a Haggen on June 9th.

The Haggen website confirms that it takes 40 hours to convert each store ... click here for an interesting blog they posted in April after their first conversion (slightly rocky, from the sounds of it).  Heidi's article says that stores are about 25% "Haggen-ized" when they re-open, so now we'll know what to expect!

I also found this great photo on Haggen's Facebook page from one of their recently converted stores (in Southern California) - so envisioning the produce area of our current Vons, I'll bet it will look a lot like this!
