Who is Heather Marianna, you may ask? If you’ve never met this fiery, smart, wickedly funny, and talented entrepreneur, then frankly, you’re missing out!
Heather Marianna, CEO of The Beauty Kitchen which opened in Boulder City a few years ago, has some big news to share! We’ve followed this local business these past few years as she began a shipping and production location in Boulder City up in the industrial area, shipping her products all over the US and the world. As she grew her online business, she also opened her retail location in Boulder City, located at 501 Nevada Way, Suite 1, and we’ve been the lucky ones ever since.
Specializing in beauty products made from natural ingredients that are also made in the USA, cruelty-free and affordable, has made her a go-to for women everywhere including Hollywood A-listers, thousands of YouTube subscribers and of course, us locals!
But now, Heather has launched her new line, Marriana Naturals along with a Canadian Co-Founder and they will soon have an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the Canadian Stock market. The Marianna Naturals line has already exploded into the Canadian market and has become the #1 seller in the category on the Walmart, CA online. We could be wrong, but we can’t think of another internationally publicly traded company in Boulder City – so that is really special!!!
A few weeks ago, I road tested a few new features and products at the store. First, when you go in for a visit, you can purchase a custom Skin Diagnostic scan that does an analysis of your skin’s appearance and texture, and recommends different products based upon your needs. As a lady of a certain age….ahem…..I have to say that I have really appreciated that evaluation. Since then (about 3 weeks) I’ve been using the Superior Mushroom Eye Cream and the Hyaluronic Acid Facial Serum at night, and the Grapefruit Facial Cleanser along with the Daily SPF Sunscreen Moisturizer every day, and my skin looks brighter, and the skin tone is more even. It feels good to be using natural products that aren’t harmful, and I’m spending no more money or even less than on the department store bands I’ve used in the past. It’s a win-win from my chair I’d say!
So the next time you’re cruising downtown visiting all our fabulous retail, coffee shops and restaurants, let your body wander into that bright pink store (gents you really are welcome too, as everything she sells is gender neutral…) and go check out a local business that is spreading its wings in big ways, while we in Boulder City get a front row seat. Congrats to Heather and her staff – go slay it!
