Thursday, December 2nd
Luminaria and Las Posadas
December 2nd at 6:00PM, in the Parks and Recreation Center Gymnasium (900 Arizona Street) is where the Boulder City United Methodist Church hosts the Boulder City Luminaria and Las Posadas. There will be local school choir performances, a living nativity and Christmas carol sing-a-long. Hot cocoa is also served.
Friday, December 3rd
Lights On at the Ryan-Musgrave House on Fifth
If you’ve never been to the lighting of the Christmas House on Fifth (1525 Fifth Street) then you’re missing out! The entertainment begins Friday, December 3rd at 5:15PM. Christmas Tree Lighting
After, head up to Frank Crowe Park (537 Cherry Street) for the 6:00PM lighting of the Community Christmas Tree, where you can also enjoy live entertainment and hot chocolate.
Saturday, December 4th
Doodlebug Bazaar & Santa’s Picture Party
The 46th Annual Doodlebug Bazaar at the Parks and Recreation Gymnasium (900 Arizona Street) runs Saturday, December 7th from 9:00AM to 4:00PM. It features a variety of homemade items: clothing, jewelry, decorations and more. Also at the event from 11:00AM to 2:00PM you can get your picture taken with Santa!
Santa’s Electric Night Parade
Come to the Boulder City Historic District on Nevada Way, and beginning at 4:30PM is one of the highlights of the season for Santa’s Electric Night Parade as spectacular floats, bands and all kinds of fantastic spectacles to put you in the Holiday Spirit!
Wednesday, December 8th
Chamber of Commerce Mixer
The Chamber of Commerce will host its annual holiday mixer through the businesses located on Elm Street, starting at 5:30PM. This is a fun event to meet business owners and learn more about holiday specials.
Saturday, December 11th
WIne Walk Ugly Sweater Contest
Beginning at 4:00PM, explore the downtown Historic District and visit the various businesses while in your ugliest Christmas sweater! You can find out more about this event HERE.
St Jude’s Annual Night of Lights
For $20, you receive an all-inclusive wristband and participation in hayrides, live music, arts and crafts, photos with Santa Claus, cookies and cocoa. This event will take place at St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, located at 200 Wilson Circle. It takes place from 5:00PM to 8:00PM.
Weekends Throughout December
The BC Santa Express will be running every weekend from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. Each trip includes a photo opportunity with Santa Claus, storytelling, hot chocolate and cookies from Chilly Jilly’z. You must purchase your tickets in advance by clicking HERE. The Railroad Museum is located at 601 Yucca Street.
