Since both the upcoming Christmas and New Year’s Holiday fall on Wednesdays, the City’s last curbside recycling collection will have been this morning, December 18th and the next curbside pickup will be on January 8th.
Public Works sent over an outline of our recyling options for the next few weeks and asked me to share it with ya’ll:
1) Recyclables may be brought to the Boulder City Landfill for recycling from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., seven days a week (excluding Christmas and New Year’s Day).
2) Recyclables may be dropped off in the temporary container located at the Bravo Field Parking Lot (On Avenue B south of the Pool).
PLEASE keep co-mingled recycling separate from the Christmas Tree recycling container, as organics mixed in with recyclables ruins the entire load.
3) If the above two options are not convenient for you, please place your excess recyclables in bags or boxes next to your green recycling tote for collection on Wednesday, January 8th.
