Reality television with a Boulder City twist…that’s what I’d call the video of Stephen Stubbs being arrested by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Gang Unit a few days ago.
We don’t check in often on the saga that began with the Mongols holding their annual convention in Boulder City back in June 2012, but with this video of Stubbs (the Mongols’ attorney) going viral in the last 24 hours, I thought I’d better bring you into the loop.
Here’s the the storyline of this video: The arrest was for “obstructing officers who were trying to issue a ticket” (per Metro)…which took place after Stubbs (the attorney) refused to allow his client to be questioned outside of his presence, a violation of the client’s 5th Amendment rights (per Stubbs).
With more than 8,000 views in the last 24 hours, you can watch the full YouTube video below (the actual arrest takes place 2 minutes and 28 seconds into the video, which I’ve quicklinked for you here).
