And WHO doesn’t love a good pub crawl, I ask you?! That’s right…no one!
The 2012 Shane Patton Scholarship Foundation Pub Crawl is taking place this coming Saturday, April 28th starting at 8:00pm!
The $30 entry fee includes the commemorative t-shirt (pictured below) and one free drink at $1 PBRs and $2 Wells all night at The Dillinger (where the event begins) and then you hit the specials at the other participating establishments in town – which are Boulder Dam Brewing Company, Evan’s Old Town Grille, Milo’s Cellar and The Backstop.
Funds raised go directly to the Shane Patton Scholarship Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization — they provide scholarships for graduating Boulder City High School seniors. Donations may be made at The Dillinger and/or sent to the “Shane Patton Scholarship Foundation”, c/o The Dillinger, 1224 Arizona St., Boulder City, NV 89005.
Shane Eric Patton was a United States Navy Seal from Boulder City. He was killed in action on June 28th, 2005 when he and his fellow Seals were on a rescue mission to assist four teammates under attack and outnumbered by more than 120. As their helicopter descended, it was hit by a rocket propelled grenade and all aboard perished. Shane was 22 years old.
