Library closure for the month are:
- Sunday, May 25, 2025 Labor Day holiday. Regular hours resume Monday, May 26, 2025.
Regular operating hours for the library are as follows: Monday thru Thursday from 10:00AM to 8:00PM, and Friday thru Sunday from 10:00AM to 5:00PM. The library is located at 701 Adams Boulevard and is online 24 hours a day HERE. You can reach the circulation desk with questions, to sign up for classes, and to receive other general information by calling (702) 293-1281.

Saturday, May 17 at 10:00AM: Desert Research Institute Family Engagement- Ecosystem Explorers: DRI to host a family event- includes hands-on and fun learning activities. Receive a free book for attending while supplies last. Program is for families with children ages 2-6. Community Room.
Wednesday, May 21 at 11:30AM: Let’s Discover STEM with UNR: Hosted by UNR part parenting workshop to foster parent-child connection and part hands-on learning activity- this new series promotes literacy and school readiness with STEM seasonal themes. Wednesday, May 28 at 11:30AM: Engineering Design with PBS Kids Ready Jet Go!: Blast off into creativity! Spacesuit Designer Workshop- explore engineering design by designing a spacesuit for a plush toy with everyday materials. Sign-ups required. Program is for children Ages 4-5. Community Room.
