July 4th Damboree Celebration 2011

July 4th Damboree Celebration 2011 in Boulder City, NVThat’s it…I’ve decided. I’m running for Mayor!

If for no other reason to return the smack-down Mayor Tobler tried to give me over my pancake flipping abilities this morning on the griddle at the Rotary Club of Boulder City’s Pancake Breakfast!

Today’s July 4th Damboree Celebration was awesome…and I mean AWESOME. Well, once I got over hauling myself up to Bicentennial Park at 5:00 to set up the griddle (and no Mayor in sight for that part, by the way!

Hundreds of happy customers later…I took off for the main drag to take photos for ya’ll…they’re below.

It rained some on the celebration in Broadbent Park — but not for very long, so that was good. And we’re gearing up for the festivities to continue over in Veterans Memorial Park at 6pm with fireworks at 9pm! All in all – another GREAT day here in Boulder City!

p.s. – I DO SO flip a MEAN flapjack!
