Love Lake Mead Days is being hosted by the National Park Service in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Several events will take place throughout April that the public is invited to be part of. Here are the events and details below:
Saturday April 19: Junior Ranger Day at the Water Safety, Boulder Beach. There will be interactive exhibits, K9 meet and greets, fire trucks, food trucks, and games. This event takes place from 9:00AM to 1:00PM. The Water Safety Center is located at the north end of the Boulder Beach campground area along Lakeshore Drive. Follow the signs to Boulder Beach from the entrance stations.
Saturday April 19: Government Wash Trash Bash, Government Wash. This trash removal and cleaning effort will run from 9:00AM to noon. Registration is required. Saturday April 19: Katherine Landing Litter Cleanup, Katherine Landing. This litter cleanup starts at 9:30AM and continues to 12:30PM. Registration is required.
