Summer Bash is this weekend and this is a great event for families that you don’t want to miss! It’s all part of the National Parks Trust’s Kids to Parks Day, which you can learn more about HERE. Sponsored by Boulder Dam Credit Union, and hosted by the Parks and Recreation and Fire Departments, you can learn all about summer programming at the Parks and Recreation Department. There will also be a bike rodeo. Helmets are required for bike rodeo participation, and the Fire Department will provide free helmets while supplies last! Come swim for free in the pool from 3:00PM to 5:00PM.
The event takes place from 1:00PM to 3:00PM, this Saturday, May 17 at Broadbent Park. Broadbent Park is located near the Municipal Pool complex at Fifth Street and Avenue B. The Foam Party and Bike Rodeo happen first, followed by the free swim. Parents must attend with their children. Come check out all the fun and kick off summer with the kids!
