We’re just five weeks out from the Best Dam Barbecue Challenge (of which I’m Event Chairperson this year, btw) and that means that registration for the 20 spots in Memphis Championship Barbecue’s Annual KidsQue Challenge has officially opened!
Legendary Pitmaster Mike Mills will again be the Master of Ceremonies for the KidsQue, which will be held on Saturday, May 25th from 2pm-5pm in the middle of the Best Dam Barbecue event (in Bicentennial Park).
There will be two age groups for the challenge: 6-12 years and 13-17 years and each age group will have prize money and medals for the top three places. There is only space for 20 teams again (1 or 2 kids per team) – so if your kids want to get their grill on…you’ll need to register early!
