A special event is taking place on Sunday, June 15 to celebrate dads and father figures in our community. The idea was conceived by a local resident, Susan Reams, to honor her father, William Beedle. Members of the community are invited to participate in a Kindness Walk from Bicentennial Park to Frank T Crowe Park and perform random acts of kindness along the way. The hashtag for the walk is #AGestureOfGoodWillForBill. The group also plans a Kindness Chain of participants. Some suggestions for the small gestures of kindness can be found below.
