Lake Mead NRA Increasing Entrance Fees

Lake Mead National Recreation Area is increasing their fees as of January 1st, 2016 and in some cases – it’s a fairly significant jump (the 100% increase in the Daily Vehicle rate, for instance).

Here is a copy of the press release that was issued on Tuesday (available online here) with all of the new fees and reasons for the increases, as well as a great new policy revision that makes the annual vehicle pass expire 12 full months after its issuance (instead of all passes expiring in December, regardless of when they were purchased).
