Chadd Barnett began working on cars as a way of taking care of his grandmother, Glenda, while he was just 14. Originally, he'd planned a career as an EMT, but the chance to take apart and put cars back together was too strong. He credits his grandfather with teaching him how to conduct a business: ethically, honestly, and with an eye to customer service. That's how he still operates his business today: Las Vegas SXS and Auto Repair. One of the main reasons he became an automotive business owner is because he was appalled at the way other auto shops tried to rip off his grandmother, since she was an older woman. Chadd was determined to ensure no women or elderly people felt that way at his business!

Don't let the name fool you: Chadd's business is located right here in Boulder City. Chadd worked a series of retail jobs until he landed his first job in the automotive field at 18. From there, he continued to learn and grow, taking on more and more responsibility, until one day he and a fellow coworker decided to open their own auto repair business. It took several months before they were able to quit their day jobs and open a full time shop. Chadd then took over the business entirely and began to look for a better warehouse area and found a great property in Boulder City, on Wells Road.

Chadd and his staff have customers all over the valley, especially due to their UTV repairs. Not many shops offer this service, but Chadd is happy to get you back on the dunes with spectacular service and attention to detail. Their customers come from everywhere including Mesquite, Pahrump, Logandale, Moapa and Mount Charleston. However, most of his business comes from customers right here in Boulder City and Henderson. Chadd and his wife, Kayla, love Boulder City and spend a lot of time here attending various events. They have two children, a daughter, Jayde, and a soon-to-be-born son, Levi. Chadd mentioned that they love coming up and spending time in town here, visiting local restaurants and shops and taking Jayde to parks. They really enjoy the community spirit in Boulder City and are proud to be part of the business community.
