Lend A Hand wanted us to share a very special ‘goodbye’ to one of their beloved volunteers: Shirley Putz. Acording to Georgia Wenzel, “Shirley was a Boulder City Resident for over 40 years. She and her husband Wayne were the famous Mr & Mrs. Claus for many years. Shirley was one of 5 woman from different churches in Boulder City who realized there was a need for services to the elderly and disabled. Shirley was an active board member for the past 29 years, an asset to our group. Shirley is also a Deacon of the Episcopal church. She has chosen to move back to her roots in Montana. Lend A Hand is thankful for her dedication to our organization and bids a fond farewell to an old friend.”
