Albertsons is hosting their “Kids Corner” on Saturday, May 7th from 10am – 4pm where your kids can create their own gift for Mother’s Day. They can decorate their own Sunflower Vase for $3.99 or decorate a mini cake for $2.99 – it’d be a fun craft activity for a Saturday afternoon and Mom even gets a present out of it!
It bears mentioning that Albertsons has recently been making a huge effort to become involved in our awesome Boulder City community. They just sent me the information for their Shop Local page on Boulder City Social (which you can see by clicking here) and the list of donations they’ve been making is a nice one. From the Survivor Dinner at Relay for Life on Friday night to sponsoring 2 barbecue grills at the KidsQue Challenge during the Best Dam Barbecue (and a ton of other stuff, I might add) – it’s pretty cool.
I’ve asked them to feel free to start posting deals to the Facebook page, so you’ll see those start to pop up on there under Tom Ringer’s name (one of the managers) until they can get approval for their own Fan page. And on that note, I saw in the store this morning that they are offering seniors 5% off their grocery bill this coming Wednesday, May 11th. Rockin — we do love a deal here at BCS!
