This year will go down in history (at least recent history) as one to remember for it’s challenges, but also for it mishaps, WFH laughs and the fact that we all got to know our family members in a whole new up-close-and-personal-we-can’t-get-away-from-each-other way!
Enter, the need for FUN amid our struggles!
You have to give it up for Jennifer Bratton, Owner of Vegas Valley Photography, who many of you know lives in Boulder City and her business is based right here in town. She is one busy lady, and she went looking for a way to photograph families in this time and place, and to let them have some creative moments together.
As she takes all of these portraits, Jennifer is protected as are her subjects, and always works from a safe distance of at least 6 feet away, if not more. She has not charged for any of these shoots, but of course the prints are available and reasonably priced.
She says that she does have likely one more round of these planned, and you can contact her from her Facebook Page HERE to schedule that. She says one of the best parts is of course seeing how creative some of the families have been. She notes the commonality of alcohol used as a prop (no comment on my own coping mechanisms…) but wants people to know it’s not required, as a few have asked. Mostly what she says is the women are excited to have a reason that day to get dressed, put on full makeup and do something just really fun and different that day.
Thank you Jennifer for the donation of your time and the innovation to get families out and celebrating what is completely unique about these early 2020 quarantine times!
