Boulder City Hospital, in conjunction with Nevadans for the Common Good and the City of Boulder City will host a community wide meeting to discuss the issues of health, homelessness, and hunger in Boulder City. This important meeting will take place on Thursday, March 18 at 6:30PM. The meeting is taking place at the Senior Center, 813 Arizona Street.
On hand will be the hospital’s new community liaison, Jennifer Hedlund. She has a master’s degree in social work and nearly two decades of experience assisting others with healthcare needs. The hospital’s new community resources program, funded with American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds, seeks to “provide a network of support services addressing issues in our community such as hunger, substance abuse, homelessness, health equity and access, and human trafficking.”
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss some of the issues facing the city and discuss potential solutions to them. This is an opportunity to become informed on the topics that matter most to Boulder City residents.
