Memorial Day Remembrance in Downtown BC

United States Flags in Boulder City, NevadaHere’s a reminder from the American Legion Post 31 about taking a collective moment away from enjoying the holiday on Monday to remember what Memorial Day is really about:

“On Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2015 at 3:00pm, a siren will sound in the downtown area of Boulder City for one minute.

Immediately afterwards, Taps will be played to honor all the men and women who have died in service to our country.

It is requested of everyone to stop what they are doing during the playing of Taps and to stand at attention. Your participation in this short memorial will be greatly appreciated.

Please pass this information onto your family and friends. Thank you for honoring our fallen military veterans
