"Milopalooza" is set for Friday, January 3, 2025

Come one, come all, if you knew, loved or wish to honor Milo Hurst, an icon of downtown Boulder City, then his Celebration of Life is planned for January 3, 2025 starting at 2pm at Beer Zombies. The date is auspicious, as this is the date he opened the doors of Milo's Cellar for the first time, January 3, 2003.

All are welcome.

For those who don't know, the term Milopalooza above is a mash-up of words from the music festival Lollapalooza which started in 1991. It also has the dictionary definition of "a person or thing that is particularly impressive or attractive." Or maybe that's AI lying to us, who knows. But regardless, the family chose the name so we're just following along! Frankly, we think it fits him just fine.

We don't know the specific schedule, so dress according to the weather and be prepared to listen, laugh, shed a tear, and toast to Milo!
