The rezoning of the property at 1501 Nevada Highway (to Medium Density R3) was unanimously approved at last night’s City Council meeting, paving the way for RPS Homes to move forward with closing the mobile home park and building multi-family residential units.
Although the intended plans are far from finalized (per RPS Homes at the meeting), the agenda packet indicates that the maximum number of new
dwellings allowed under R3 zoning is 80. If a conditional use permit were also to be granted allowing higher density, the maximum number of new dwellings allowed could potentially be 127.
