This month, the Boulder City Library will begin something new…a free Movie of the Month program!
Every 4th Saturday at 1:00pm, the library will run a different movie and they’ve already set the schedule for the rest of 2012, which is below.
In honor of the library’s 10th Anniversary – all of this year’s movies were popular 10 years ago — in 2002.

MARCH 24th
CATCH ME IF YOU CAN with Leonardo DeCaprio, Tom Hanks and Christopher Walken
Based on the true story of the youngest man ever to be placed on the FBI’s Most Wanted List.
Action – PG-13 for language and brief sexuality
APRIL 28th
CHICAGO with Renee Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Richard Gere
Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly – two women with looks that could kill, so they did. Based on the smash hit Broadway musical.
Musical – PG-13 for Language and Sex
MAY 26th
LILO & STITCH
Set in Hawaii, Lilo, a 5-year-old who loves animals, encounters Stitch, an evil alien who has escaped from the Intergalactic police.
Animated – PG for Sci-Fi Action
JULY 23rd
SPIDER-MAN with Tobey Maguire, Willem Dafoe, Kirsten Dunst and James Franco
Based on the comic book series. Peter Parker is an average high school student, until he is bitten by a genetically altered spider.

JULY 28th
HARRY POTTER & THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS with Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint
Harry returns to Hogwart’s to find he must save his fellow students by finding the mysterious Chamber of Secrets.

AUGUST 25th
THE BOURNE IDENTITY with Matt Damon, Franka Potente and Chris Cooper
Based on the book by Robert Ludlum. Jason Bourne has no idea of his own identity, and must discover who he is before assassins manage to kill him.

SEPTEMBER 22nd
LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS with Elijah Wood, Sean Astin and Ian McKellen
The Fellowship of Nine has been broken. Frodo is joined by Samwise Gamgee in his journey to Mordor to destroy the One Ring.

SCOOBY-DOO with Matthew Lillard, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr.
Scooby, Shaggy and the rest of the gang find themselves in an amusement park where they have to solve a mystery.

SANTA CLAUSE 2: THE MRS CLAUSE with Tim Allen, Elizabeth Mitchell and David Krumholtz
