It’s time for National Night Out again! Tuesday, August 7th at 6pm in Veterans’ Memorial Park. This event was really fun last year…the park was packed with…well, everyone. Just to hang out…so it was a great way to be with people you know, you know?
The goal of the event is to strengthen neighborhood spirit by bringing together its citizens with law enforcement agencies, local officials, civic groups, businesses and neighborhood organizations.
Last year’s event, brought to you by the Boulder City Police Department and the City of Boulder City, featured the annual Police vs. Fire Softball Game, a rock climbing wall, a free barbecue with refreshments (courtesy of Albertsons), boating safety demonstrations (complete with free life vests), eating contests, giveaways, a Mercy Air landing and helicopter tours, a SkyDive Las Vegas Demo, bounce houses, water slides, a K9 Demo and yes, the dunk tank.
And this year will be no exception, I’m sure! Super fun…see ya there!
