This year’s National Night Out gets started at 6pm at the Veterans Memorial Park this coming Tuesday, August 1st.
National Night Out is a nationwide event intended to improve crime prevention awareness, help create stronger community-police partnerships and generate neighborhood spirit.
This year’s festival includes a baseball game between two teams coming from Boulder City High School Alumni and a combined forces team from the Boulder City Police Officers and Firefighters.
Other activities include a bounce house and trampolines, a K9 demonstration as well as a helicopter!
There will be a raffle benefitting the BCHS Cheerleaders and Explorers Unit. And…if you purchase $20 worth of tickets you can receive a FREE kids bike helmet. (Safety First Kids!…)
And…. don’t forget that your newest Mounted Police Officer Scott Pastore and his horse Odie will be there in attendance! You’ll even get to meet other members of his ‘volunteer posse’ PLUS they’ll be selling some Mounted Police unit “swag” as well!
