The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) offers various outdoor education activities for residents of Nevada. This month, they have an introductory fishing class for women on Sunday, March 23 from 8:30AM to 10:30AM. The location is the Veterans Memorial Park Fishing Pond at 1650 Buchanan Boulevard. You must preregister for this class and seating is limited to ten women for this event. You can sign up HERE. They will have loaner equipment, but if you have your own gear, bring it along!
