The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) is offering the following community education sessions. Please note that you must register for the FREE education classes first by clicking HERE. All classes subject t change or cancellation and they do have class size limits.
- BAT DISCOVERY WALKS
Saturday, June 3 from 7:30PM to 8:30PM at Veterans Memorial Park Fishing Pond
- BIGHORN SHEEP
Sunday, June 4 between 9:00AM and 12:00PM (come anytime between those hours) at Hemenway Park
Sunday, June 11 between 9:00AM and 12:00PM (come anytime between those hours) at Hemenway Park
Sunday, June 25 between 9:00AM and 12:00PM (come anytime between those hours) at Hemenway Park
These educational programs give residents a chance to learn about native wildlife species in a small, informative groups. NDOW staff will be on hand to teach participants about the various local wildlife and to answer any questions. Please be sure to dress appropriately for the weather and bring water.
