Nevada Department of Wildlife Bat Walk-Abouts

The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) is offering two upcoming events to educate the public on local species in Boulder City. These particular events involve bat walk-abouts down at Veterans Memorial Park. There will be two opportunities available in the coming weeks:

  • Thursday, August 12 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM
  • Thursday August 26 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM

You must pre-register online with NDOW and you can do that HERE. Space is limited so make your plans early. Registrants are reminded to be aware of the weather and plan accordingly. You should also come prepared, including a flashlight.
