Here is the update from the latest progress email sent out by Public Works (which was on Jan. 26th):
Progress on the Nevada Way Revitalization Project is moving forward. We have begun construction on Nevada Way. The sewer main line construction on 5th street is nearly complete. A second crew is following the first crew. This crew is tasked with installing new sewer services from the existing private property to the new sewer main. In addition, this crew is installing new water services to each home. Water service disruption to the home should only last 1 to 2 hours. The contractor will attempt to notify each homeowner in advance of the outage.
The first construction team plans to move north on Nevada Way towards New Mexico street and Wyoming street. Construction in this reach will take place from the hours of 6 PM to 6 AM.
