Awesome…Public Works added us to the email list that receives updates on the Nevada Way Revitalization Project. It’s mostly the neighboring businesses and a few other folks…so we’re in good company and glad they are so willing to share the updates with me to share with you.
The below photo was actually taken on January 3rd on Fifth Street at Aztec and here is the current update from the Wednesday email update:
In the next week, the contractor will continue work installing the sewer main on 5th street between Avenue A and Nevada Way. The trench is very deep (20-feet plus) in this vicinity, which makes progress slow. Work at the Nevada Way intersection may cause road closures on Nevada Way or flaggers during the evening hours. Once complete at the intersection, work on the Nevada Way sewer main will turn and proceed toward Wyoming St.
A second construction crew will follow behind the large crew to connect the sewer lateral for each home or business to the new sewer main.
