We had told you a few weeks ago HERE, that the new 7-Eleven location would open this month, owned by the same franchisee owners as the Nevada Way location, Tom and Amy Carvalho.
Well, as of this morning they have opened their doors after being completely shut down for only a three day transition! Wow! Tom says they’ve been working like nuts to only be closed for just three days time as they transitioned all of the merchandise over from the old store to the new store.
But now that work is all done, so go check this new puppy out! The store is simply gorgeous. (Really, we CAN apply that to a 24/7 convenience store location!) And not only can you go get your slurpee fix, they have all sorts of fancy newfangled machines for coffee, drinks, hot snacks, cold treats, and grab-and-go options throughout.
We know lots of folks will miss the old spot, but we’re glad this all worked out for this local family-owned business and their employees! The old place on Nevada Way is closed and undergoing demolitions as we speak. The land and building there is owned by the 7-Eleven corporation, and we’re told they will remove the gas tanks, and that there are already interested parties waiting in the wings to potentially grab up that spot.
Go say hello to this local 7-Eleven crew, and gas-up (diesel now available) sometime soon on their new corner of Boulder City Parkway and Buchanan Boulevard!
