Got water? In a pool, that is? Well, you’ve probably made your last trip to Leslie’s Pool Supply or NPS in Henderson for supplies because we now have our very own pool supply place right here in Boulder City! BC Pool Supply opened up in Red Mountain Plaza (1643 Nevada Hwy. – between Amerisent Insurance and Roberto’s Tacos) two weeks ago and so I dropped in to get the scoop.
It’s a really nice store with tons of supplies, but the most important things to the approx. 2,000 pool owners in Boulder City will probably be a toss-up between the free water testing in their Spin Lab machine and the free labor on in-house service repairs (you just pay for parts). Oh yeah — I said FREE twice up there … and we all like that!
The store is owned by Boulder City residents Don & Laurie Rodriguez and Jen Nordstrom and managed by Philip DeBrady … I met Don and Philip – super nice guys. They don’t offer the servicing of pools, choosing to focus instead on keeping stocked up with comprehensive chemicals, equipment, rafts, etc. and serving pool cleaning companies and the many do-it-yourselfers around town.
They’re open Mon – Fri from 7am – 7pm, Sat from 9am – 5pm and Sun from 9am – 3pm, so check ’em out if you have a need … or if you really just want a Frozen or Superman towel like me!
