Please meet Kristi Weidauer, a local realtor and owner of the all-new downtown venture ReStored! Located inside the ‘shopping mall’ at 508 Nevada Way, Suite 2, (next door to the Sage Boutique), she has a store full of treasures both new and old you must see!
Kristi tells us her inspiration for the location actually comes from her mother, who was an antique dealer who had always wanted her own retail shop. Kristi and her husband clearly have some skills because the place is packed with some amazing furniture and finds that they can help you restore and put into your own home!
There is no one theme or time period. She says they can help bring life to any antique and keep it traditional or funk it up, like the piece that is her checkout desk. They took a blow torch and some cool stains to bring it new life. She showed me several other treasures when we walked through. She also has gift items from local artisans such as the wind chimes or other goodies inside.
Also part of her team is her good friend and interior designer, Magdalena Brandon, who can help guide your design ideas for your home. Just like all of the other locations in the building at 508, they all have their own upstairs loft where in October they will be offering a variety of classes on design and other fun projects. Can’t wait for that!
