The Las Vegas Review Journal recently reported that the Hacienda Hotel will be renamed the “Hoover Dam Lodge” and will close for a week of renovations from December 23rd – 28th.
They’ll be installing a new player rewards system and 150 new slot machines, which is less than half what they can actually operate…but their plan is to operate on a limited basis while they remodel, thus keeping customers happy and employees working.
On the food front – Howard Stutz’s LVRJ article (which you can read by CLICKING HERE) references the steakhouse and a 24-hour coffee shop, but makes no mention of the buffet – so we’ll have to wait and see its fate.
Oh, and there is an artistic rendering of the new property design in the RJ article, as well!
