The first thing you notice when you walk into Claudia’s Beauty Salon, located at 724 Canyon Road, is the kind woman behind the name, and the counter. She is Claudia Kusak and she’s on a mission: a mission to make the world more beautiful, one client at a time.
The second thing you’ll notice is the cleanliness in the bright, white shop. Everything is beautiful and nice and ready for customers. Claudia’s place is a little different from other places in town. She is a full service salon. She offers haircuts, styles, and color. She gives facials. She does permanent makeup. Waxing is available. Of course she does manicures and pedicures, as well, and this may be the most important service she offers.
Claudia has lived here a few years and worked at other salons. Her decision to open her own salon was driven by her goal to give her clients a full service experience. In particular, she loves working with senior clients. Many seniors have problems taking care of their own feet due to mobility issues. Claudia takes special care of these feet, making the client feel pampered and relaxed. It’s a much better experience than having a physician do it!
Claudia’s happy disposition is guided by her philosophy: “Life is too short. Pamper yourself.” This is not simply important from a beauty standpoint, but also for health. Her goal is to bring happiness to each client, no matter what service she’s providing. It must be working because she has client that come from Las Vegas to see her!!!
