As luck would have it, many of us find ourselves with a number of nagging tasks and chores to do around the house and not enough time or experience to handle them. Mike began working in construction when he was just 13, as an industrial arts student. In the time since then, he's held a number of increasingly responsible jobs in the industry including having a contractor license in Wyoming, where he lived until he and his wife moved to Boulder City in January 2025. At that time, Mike decided to channel his entrepreneurial spirit into handyman services.

He can do most jobs with a value of less than $7000 with his business license, and if there is something that he doesn't feel comfortable doing, or that exceeds his limit, he will let his clients know right away. He believes in doing the highest quality work at reasonable prices. Since opening his Boulder City business, some of the things he has done include: assembling furniture, fixing soffits, repairing leaky plumbing, installing ceiling fans, troubleshooting electrical issues, replacing water heaters, and more! He especially enjoys assisting elderly clients with projects they no longer have the ability to complete. Helping people is the best part of his work, he tells us, and the one that brings him the most joy.

As a handyman, he does not require upfront payment for his work (unless there is a significant amount of supplies that must be ordered). This gives his clients peace of mind, knowing the job will be completed in a professional and timely manner. Many of his clients end up becoming new friends!

Mike, and his wife, Christi, love the Boulder City community and plan to retire here. Mike and Christi, who is the Deputy Director at the Bureau of Reclamation, have six children and five grandchildren.
