Parkway Antiques is a Magical Trip down Memory Lane

Parkway Antiques, located at 1402 Boulder City Parkway, Suite A, is the first antique store as you enter town and it has an unique vibe. The store is full of treasures collected over the years by the Zvirzin Family. Approximately 90% of the store’s inventory are items curated by the family. Richard and Andrew Zvirzin are the proprietors, and they decided to open the store after their parents passed away and they were able to assess the collection of items their parents had accumulated. They have vintage treasures of all kinds and specialize in antique dolls and toys. The brothers, who have lived in Illinois, Florida, and Las Vegas, love the community of Boulder City due to its small town appeal. Once they made Boulder City their home, they began looking for a place to rent so they could open their store in March 2023.

They both take great pleasure in selling items to customers who really want and will cherish an item. They’ve enjoyed getting to know their new customers and community. They tell us the average customer comes in and knows what they want. For example, they’ve had other antique dealers come and purchase items for their own stores. “I see the beauty in everything,” Richard told us. He suggests that people surround themselves with beautiful things and things that make you happy.

In addition to selling items to customers, they are willing to help assess items from customers as well. In addition to appraising items, they also help conduct estate sales. In this capacity, they inventory items and property from deceased persons, set up sales, perform appraisals, liquidate inventory, and satisfy the family in closing a difficult chapter of their lives.

Andrew and Richard are personable and friendly, and enjoy chatting with their clientele. Their passion for their work is evident in the styling and display of their items. Of particular note is a large branch in a display case near the register, where their father’s collection of Native American handcrafted jewelry is showcased.

The store is open Wednesday through Sunday, from 11:00AM to 5:00PM.
