Passing Through Veteran’s Memorial Park

Fan Photo Terri Marie Boulder City, Nevada

I just love people who know more than I do about the world around me. So I was thrilled to get another photo from my friend Terri Marie who is one of our local amazing bird watchers in town! She tells us that these beauties are Black-necked Stilts, who are shore birds that breed along the costs from Oregon south and as far east as Idaho. Looks like they were just passing through last weekend on their way back up north.
