Here’s a photo of one of the new bus shelters being built — it’s really starting to look like the artistic rendering I posted for you back in December (and have included again below).
This particular one is on Arizona St. (near City Hall) and there’s another one at this same stage of completion on Nevada Way (near Crowe Park). They’ve got Spanish tile roofs and a smooth stucco finish, arched openings, and brick accents so that their designs coordinate with City Hall and the Police Station.
They’ll also have photovoltaic panels to collect and store power that will be used for the canopy lighting and of course, the bench isn’t in yet…but here’s where we are so far!
