A few weeks ago we spoke with Alex Aladort, who is the Community Partnerships Manager with Amazing Brands, which is the company behind Pinkbox Doughnuts. We broke the news to you back in April they were coming to town, originally at the former Little City Grille location, but after closing on that, they learned of the former 7-Eleven location and decided to move there instead.
There has been some confusion in town that we wanted to clarify. This same organization also owns Bagelmania, which is a single deli located currently in the Las Vegas area, but they are planning a second one maybe for the Summerlin area, but NOT here in Boulder City. Because of some confusion on social media the rumor mill got started….and these things take on a life of their own. So we wanted to check things out and were told their plans remain solid for their doughnut shop only.
Alex tells us they are finalizing the design phase and will submitting their plans to the City soon. They hope for an opening by the end of the year. However, they also have become regulars at various events in town, and we gotta say, we love us some doughnuts and theirs are FANTASTIC. We’re excited for this new addition, and we’ll keep you posted.
