Piranha(s) at Veterans Memorial Park Pond?? YIKES!

And I mean SERIOUSLY YIKES!!!! There was an article in the Las Vegas Review Journal last night titled “Sharp-toothed fish found at Boulder City pond appears to be a piranha” … ummmm, WHAT?!

Reading it indicates that Stephen A. Symes posted a photo of it on the Boulder City Neighborhood Connection Facebook page and the Department of Wildlife caught wind of it, now saying it might be a flesh-eating piranha. And worse — Stephen said he might have seen another one in the water! Wonder if we’ll be seeing the ponds drained and thoroughly examined?

You can read the entire article on the LVRJ’s website by CLICKING HERE.

Note: the photo on this post is NOT the actual fish photo that Stephen Symes took (it’s a stock photo for respect of his copyright and all that good stuff) – but you can see the actual fish photo in the LVRJ’s post when you click through.
