After five long years, it looks as if the dispute over Pro Gun Club’s hillside signage came to an end last week when the Nevada Supreme Court denied the gun club’s appeal of Clark County’s denial of their hillside sign application.
You can read the whole article on the Las Vegas Review Journal’s website by CLICKING HERE, but the part that most interested me was one of the arguments made by the gun club, which is that their sign is not more than 110 feet tall and therefore, is not ‘excessive’ in size (which was the Clark County Commission’s objection). Their position is that while their hillside sign may be more than 110 feet ‘long’, it’s only “a few inches tall” … the height of the chalk-like substance they actually laid on the ground to write the words…
