Ranger Talks at Lake Mead This Weekend

We're all thrilled that the furlough is over (we hope for good) and our Lake Mead National Rec. Area is back into the swing of things!

It's taking them a while to catch up and get their events planned again, but this weekend we wanted to be sure you knew about a couple of Ranger Talks they have planned:

Ranger Program: Constellation Tour – Stars and their Stories, Feb 9

Join rangers at the Boulder Beach Picnic Area 7 p.m. Feb. 9 to explore the stories of the stars and constellations that make up our night sky. For more information, call 702-293-8990.

Ranger Chat: Bugs and Blooms, Feb 10

Stop by the Lake Mead Visitor Center at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Feb. 10 to learn more about the interrelated and dynamic relationships wildflowers and insects in the Mojave Desert share. For more information, call 702-293-8990.
