Real-Prep Meal-Meal Prep in Boulder City

We recently learned about a partnership with our friends at Snap Fitness (1030 Nevada Hwy in the Albertsons parking lot) and a complete meal delivery service that we didn’t know existed, and even though this isn’t a ‘new’ business per se, we thought it very much worth letting you know about!

Please meet Sara Ramthun, pictured above with her son Drayden, who started Real-Prep Meal-Prep, which is a specialty company that provides pre-made healthy meals with a focus for helping people achieve their fitness goals.

Sara who is a NASM certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach started the business back in 2020 during the COVID-19 shutdown. She had been training at Snap but when she realized that had taken a big hit, she knew she had to pivot.

But lurking in the background she knew was also a very real and pervasive need from her clients – the need to eat healthy food, but so many of them lacked the time to put into proper meal-prep, and thus struggled to achieve their health and fitness goals, especially if trying to lose weight. And thus the idea for her meal prep business was born which she started in October, 2021!

The meals are all made from organic ingredients, dairy and gluten-free, have no sugar and feature avocado and coconut oils. She offers a variety of meal types, sizes and flavor profiles – so even if you start to ramp up and order a lot of different meals from her, you won’t be bored.

If you go to her website, HERE, you’ll see lots of buff, athletic looking body-builder types on there, but if you’re more ‘regular folk’ who just know you need to take off a few pounds and be healthier, don’t be intimidated! What we love about Sara is she will ‘meet you where you are’ and listen to what your needs are and go from there.

Ordering is easy online and for locals – ‘cause you know we’re Boulder-City-Centric here – you can pick up your meals for FREE every Monday afternoon at Snap Fitness. (pictured above). But, if you want home delivery that’s available too. The day we met up with Sara and Drayden, they were dropping off at Snap but then still had two more stops big stops to go plus other smaller local stops too.

Sara says she is incredibly grateful to Boulder City, and that the business would not have thrived without all of you! Her business started at home here in town where she lives, but eventually needed a commercial kitchen which is what she has now in Las Vegas.
