Rent Relief Programs Available for Small Businesses

Aid Businesses Corona Boulder City, Nevada

We’re hoping that this program might be helpful for some of our local small businesses who we know have had a really tough time lately.

There is a new Nevada Commercial Rental Assistance Grant (CRAG) that will have $19 million in Coronavirus Relief Funds available for commercial rental relief for Nevada small businesses (including non-profits, sole proprietorships, independent contractors and those that are self-employed) that have lost revenue as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you are a small business who has been impacted by the pandemic (and who hasn’t?) they can apply for up to $10,000 in a totally forgivable grant to help them pay rent – which actually goes directly to the commercial landlord.

They began accepting applications as of yesterday, and YOU ONLY HAVE ONE WEEK TO PARTICIPATE, as the open application period will end at 5pm, on Monday, August 31st!

You can access the application on the web site HERE, and there’s a handy fact sheet below for you as well. So get busy folks! Let’s see our small businesses get the help they need by taking advantage of these funds. Good luck!
