Hey Fans! It’s your favorite “Traffic Advisory Girl” here with an advance heads up on some road work that will take place on the morning of Tuesday, September 17th!
Our peeps over at Boulder City Dept. of Public Works asked me to share that the City of Henderson will be performing repairs for Public Works on Tuesday morning. They will be working on the traffic signal at Veterans Memorial Drive and US 93 beginning at 9 AM.
In any case, Public Works wanted to advise everyone that the traffic signal will flash red which indicates a 4-way stop condition. And as this is a very wide intersection, they ask that “motorists proceed through the intersection with caution, as it will be difficult to determine when it is your turn and what other vehicles may be entering the intersection”. They also advise that if possible, avoid this intersection until after 11 AM.
I’m also thinking that there will be a bit of a traffic delay, so the wise commuter might want to leave a little early for work or appointments, eh?
