Rocking, Rolling & Strolling To Fund Boulder City’s Meals on Wheels Program

A worthy endeavor, to be sure! Next Saturday (March 18th, 2017) marks the return of the Senior Center of Boulder City’s Rock, Roll & Stroll event, which raises some serious funds for their Meals on Wheels program.

Funds are primarily raised through the generous sponsorships of the businesses and organizations listed on the flyer below and secondarily, by seniors, their friends and families, and other supporters “rocking” in rocking chairs, “rolling” around the beautiful park in wheelchairs or “strolling” around the historic district of Boulder City from 10am – 2pm in Bicentennial Park.

Conveniently, Lend A Hand of Boulder City is holding their 2nd Annual Caregiver Fair (from 10am – 12pm) right next door in the Boulder City Recreation Department. This free event provides caregivers with valuable information on community resources and services from exhibitors, the availability of flu shots offered by Sav-On Drugs, and more.

All of the information about both events is in their respective flyers below for ya!
